Available on Generac®, Guardian®, and Centurion® generators. Air-cooled automatic standby 2010 models* and liquid-cooled models up to 150 kW. Not available on CorePower, EcoGen, or internationally.

- An extended warranty must be purchased within 12 months of the initial generator purchase. Proof of purchase date must be provided. Extended Warranty begins on the date of generator purchase by a consumer, not the purchase date of Extended Warranty.

Generator yearly maintenance checklist.
(Engine, Alternator & Controls)
- Change lubrication oil (included).
- Replace the oil filter and inspect the base (included).
- Replace spark plugs as needed.
- Inspect ignition coil wires and plug caps.
- Inspect the cooling system and clean the fins
- Top off the radiator (liquid-cooled up to 1 gallon).
- Inspect fan guard for condition and security.
- Inspect and clean the air filter and pre-cleaner.
- Replace fuel filters (diesel and gasoline).
- Inspect engine gaskets, breathers and fuel regulation components for fuel or oil leakage.
- Inspect and adjust engine belts, hoses and clamps.
- Lubricate governor and carburetor linkage.
- Load test battery and record VDC readings.
- Service battery, add water to electrolyte and clean posts.
- Check and record battery static and running charging rates.
- Inspect engine & battery heaters for proper operation and electrical safety shutdown devices.
- Inspect the unit for excessive noise or vibrations.
- Inspect mounting bolts, brackets and coupling connections.
- Check, calibrate and record AC output Voltage & Frequency.
- Inspect the engine, alternator, control wiring,
- Clear dampers, louvers and air intakes.
- Wipe down the outside of the generator and engine.
- Update via laptop computer, main controller OEM firmware as updates become available.
